Casares FC's Gavino Eleazar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Eduardo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Urtungo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Berasko saved San Eduardo from getting behind. In the 18th minute, San Eduardo's Artemio Telo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 23 minutes, Hector Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casares FC and the San Eduardo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.
