Tomás Guillelmus came out of the goal and Sixto Eron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Guillelmus having to interfere. Ernesto Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Txomin in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Perutxo got free with Ernesto Nerio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palermo Luminus's Ernesto Nerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo Luminus from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Nerio made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Arsenio Gergori sent off a good shot on target. Through a series of nice moves, Coronel Aguirre's Constantino Arlo on his own came free in the 72nd minute of the match and shot 0-4 behind a disappointed Ernesto Nerio. 78 minutes into the match, Palermo Luminus's goalkeeper Ernesto Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Gergori. 81 minutes into the match, Arsenio Gergori notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Palermo Luminus's Ernesto Nerio.
