Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sixto Eron started the match with the kick off. Arnoldo Viator might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Viator ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Sixto Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo Luminus's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Elivareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joel Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Palermo Luminus's goalkeeper Ernesto Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Abarca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Michael in the 23rd minute of play forced Palermo Luminus's goalkeeper Ernesto Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Palermo Luminus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhari Al Mehana to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ernesto Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Jacinto Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sweet Symphony ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sixto Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Joaquin Montrelle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palermo Luminus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

Joaquin Montrelle struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Joel Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo Luminus. Saverio Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Sweet Symphony ™ got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Michael. Joaquin Montrelle might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Montrelle ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Joaquin Montrelle came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Palermo Luminus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Montrelle couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Sweet Symphony ™'s Jacinto Chuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Nerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Abel Bitxintxo scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Nerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sweet Symphony ™'s zone, Santo Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Ascencio came out of the goal and Santo Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joaquin Montrelle came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Palermo Luminus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Montrelle couldn't finish the play. After having played for 81 minutes, Joaquin Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Elivareo couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Ascencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Joel Ascencio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquin Montrelle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd minute Abel Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Palermo Luminus's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Abarca came free, but Ernesto Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo Luminus were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
