Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ruperto Karmel took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Marcos Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Karmel in the 5th minute of play forced Zonda AFC's goalkeeper Celestino Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zonda AFC's Horacio Quirce got a free kick in the 5th minute. Subdai's Leandro Gelacio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcos Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Zonda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Araoz couldn't finish the play. Celestino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Karmel in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zonda AFC's goalkeeper Celestino Afonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Oriol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Hegoi in the 32nd minute of play. Ruperto Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match Lisandro Oskarbi climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Celestino Afonso. After a rather tough play, Zonda AFC's Feliberto Tancredo got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marcos Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Zonda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Oskarbi came free, but Celestino Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Zonda AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Santos Hegoi hit a great ball. Santos Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rodolfo Oriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Afonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Oskarbi went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ruperto Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Afonso having to interfere. Lisandro Oskarbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Subdai's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
