Christian Mancio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Larra's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Astor Lawrence blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Mancio having to make a save. Teobaldo Harkaitz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Freddy Abeita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Mancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Christian Mancio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Larra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Benicio Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Lawrence hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Larra was the one to do the kick off. In the 81st minute, Freddy Abeita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Cumbancha Volante fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. La Cumbancha Volante walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
