Saul Osorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Andres Mattin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnulfo Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Cordero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Mattin. Correas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Cordero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in chapita fubol clab fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Correas a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonides Iyan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of chapita fubol clab's Niceto Jusepe. 1-1. Fabio Venceslas scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niceto Jusepe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Loren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Fabio Venceslas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Jusepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Bartoleme during the 67th minute.
