Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Justino Rojelio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 9 minutes into the game, Alumni's Yaad Yu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justino Rojelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Justino Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Hug in the 15th minute of play. Ciro Ixidor hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Riber y su mancha's Justino Rojelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Machado in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Carlos Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Orland was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaad Yu got free with Justino Rojelio in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes Alumni got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Frutos. When Riber y su mancha's Cornelio Petri in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alumni's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Yaad Yu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Rojelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

If Florencio Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Gogo Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Yaad Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Rojelio. Riber y su mancha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yaad Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Alumni booed when Riber y su mancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Gogo Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alumni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 73rd minute, Arturo Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riber y su mancha's Justino Rojelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Hug in the 87th minute of play. Arnoldo Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Orland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Alumni's goalkeeper Arnoldo Librado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Petri. In the 91st minute, Jonathan Orland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alumni fully deserved thier win.
