Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquilino Telesforo started the match with the kick off. Yaad Yu succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Americo Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes 4 Elementos got a freekick which was hit by Americo Serafo. Gogo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 4 Elementos's Justino Perfecto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Machado in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes of play 4 Elementos's Americo Serafo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Alumni booed when 4 Elementos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Serafo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Yaad Yu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of 4 Elementos's Justino Perfecto. Justino Perfecto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gogo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Machado took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Perfecto. Justino Perfecto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Justino Perfecto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Mario Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alumni and the 4 Elementos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Sancho hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Enrique Urtsin might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Librado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Urtsin ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Alumni were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yaad Yu to make the kick off. Justino Perfecto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Machado went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After having played for 57 minutes, Gogo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alumni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yaad Yu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Justino Perfecto made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alumni's Yaad Yu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justino Perfecto. That made the score 0-6 after 63 minutes of play. Yaad Yu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Justino Perfecto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaad Yu in the 71st minute. Gogo Machado struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Justino Perfecto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alumni. 77 minutes into the match, Yaad Yu notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of 4 Elementos's Justino Perfecto. Justino Perfecto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Yaad Yu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Alumni's Gogo Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justino Perfecto. That made the score 0-8 after 83 minutes of play. Gogo Machado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gogo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Perfecto having to interfere. Gogo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Justino Perfecto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Perfecto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Machado's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match was over Alumni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 4 Elementos throughout the match.
