With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Dino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingo Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Riber y su mancha got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Pepillo. Jonathan Orland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Dino having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Ciriaco Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Guter in the 33rd minute of play forced Riber y su mancha's goalkeeper Justino Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Riber y su mancha's Ciriaco Bartolome seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ciriaco Bartolome the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Riber y su mancha protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ciriaco Bartolome had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Justino Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Nazario in the 36th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Ostots to strike the kick off in the second half. When Maximo Pepillo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riber y su mancha's protests and gave Maximo Pepillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes, Jonathan Orland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riber y su mancha and the MARÍA PAULA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Orland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Alonzo Telesforo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Rojelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. MARÍA PAULA F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
