Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Ponciano in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Venerando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Celso Rosario made the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Joey in the 59th minute of the match. Timoteo Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Venerando having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meridiano Vº's Florencio Che got a free kick in the 64th minute. Timoteo Ponciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Venerando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Ponciano ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Ponciano in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Venerando saved Meridiano Vº from getting behind. After having played for 73 minutes, Eustaquio Azibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copa Copero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Azibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Che hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Copa Copero's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Rosario came free, but Fulgencio Primo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
