Federico Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Alejandro Celio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Copa Copero's Fulgencio Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Marcones in the 29th minute of play. Timoteo Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Federico Gorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copa Copero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Ponciano in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Gorbea saved river b from getting behind. Timoteo Poncianos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Federico Gorbea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Copa Copero's Timoteo Ponciano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Ursino was the one to do the kick off. Higinio Ignado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Gorbea having to make a save. Federico Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, river b's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Abadia came free, but Federico Gorbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Gorbea having to interfere. Federico Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Ponciano in the 90th minute of the match. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, Teo Ursino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Primo. Teo Ursino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. There was no doubt that Copa Copero were the better team. Copa Copero's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
