But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Kauldi couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Che during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Meridiano Vº's Florencio Che got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Astor Pelagius charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Las Sierras Locas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Kauldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes Las Sierras Locas got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Oihenarte. When Eulalio Kauldi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Las Sierras Locas fans jumped to their feet. The wind increased when Eulalio Kauldi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Eulalio Kauldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geronimo Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eulalio Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Sierras Locas's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Kauldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Venerando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Geronimo Soin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Meridiano Vº's Bartolo Venerando. Bartolo Venerando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Meridiano Vº's zone, Eulalio Kauldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Venerando came out of the goal and Eulalio Kauldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Eulalio Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Sierras Locas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Kauldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Rolando Baraquiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meridiano Vº's Bartolo Venerando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Eulalio Kauldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartolo Venerando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Las Sierras Locas's Rolando Baraquiel got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Eulalio Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Sierras Locas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Kauldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Rolando Baraquiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Sierras Locas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Eulalio Kauldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eulalio Kauldi scored 6-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartolo Venerando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Las Sierras Locas were the better team. Las Sierras Locas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
