The Jota Erre Erre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Tonete should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Deportivo Chupa chichi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elias Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Chupa chichi's Cipriano Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Adrio in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Abelardo Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jota Erre Erre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Chupa chichi the free kick. A collision led to Jota Erre Erre getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Abelardo Napier hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jota Erre Erre's Elias Adrio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Deportivo Chupa chichi's Ciriaco Cordarryl got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Erauso having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Frans got free with Cipriano Erauso in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Emilio Eztebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Jota Erre Erre's Joaquin Bautista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nemesio Frans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Erauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Cordarryl to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciriaco Cordarryl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Tonete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Pastor Enol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Tonete made a huge save. Reynaldo Tonete made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Pastor Enol sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Erauso having to interfere.
