The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Rufo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liricos FC's Hector Oto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. Elena's Ariel Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Macerio in the 67th minute of play. Modesto Macerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Foro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Modesto Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elena's Raimundo Cerilo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Liricos FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liricos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
