The supporters of Jota Erre Erre booed when Ranquile FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Vedillo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Ranquile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Desiderio Dalmu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Teobaldo Vedillo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Tonete came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranquile FC's Anier Ticho. But to his dismay, Anier Ticho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Jota Erre Erre's Elias Adrio got a free kick in the 35th minute. Anier Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Frans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Desiderio Osmundo firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Nemesio Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jota Erre Erre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ranquile FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Ticho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nemesio Frans came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Jota Erre Erre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Frans couldn't finish the play. If Nemesio Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Ticho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Tonete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Ticho got free with Reynaldo Tonete in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 minutes of play, Jota Erre Erre's Nemesio Frans made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Osmundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Anier Ticho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Nemesio Frans came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Jota Erre Erre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Frans couldn't finish the play. After 88 played minutes Jota Erre Erre got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Odon. Reynaldo Tonete made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Anier Ticho sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ranquile FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
