Ovidio Romano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ovidio Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Aurken in the 9th minute of play. German Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ovidio Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Ildefonso Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Isidro Gai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liricos FC and the Agrelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edelmiro Milian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Romano. Liricos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ovidio Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Aurken in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Liricos FC booed when Agrelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jacobo Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Liricos FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Aurken came free, but Ovidio Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game German Aurken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liricos FC's Ovidio Romano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Agrelo's German Aurken made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Romano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidio Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Aurken in the 46th minute of play. Aldo Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Romano having to interfere. After the first half Agrelo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Macerio to make the kick off. If German Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agrelo's German Aurken got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Iago in the 69th minute of the match. German Aurken's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ovidio Romano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Aurken in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Romano saved Liricos FC from getting behind. After 77 minutes, Ildefonso Iago made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Liricos FC's Ovidio Romano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Ekain during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If German Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ovidio Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
