Elias Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Toribio having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, Jota Erre Erre's Nemesio Frans made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Toribio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Astor Oskarbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jota Erre Erre's Nicasio Gonzales got a free kick in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Jota Erre Erre's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Salamon came free, but Reynaldo Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Astor Oskarbi in the 26th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jota Erre Erre's goalie and right to Desiderio Primo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jota Erre Erre's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Reynaldo Tonete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Salamon in the 29th minute of the match. Jota Erre Erre's Reynaldo Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Salamon in the 30th minute of play. Julio Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Astor Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberta FC's Saturnino Toribio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Alberta FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Jota Erre Erre's zone, Leandro Koldobika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Tonete came out of the goal and Leandro Koldobika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Salamon was the one to do the kick off. 64 minutes into the game, Julio Salamon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Reynaldo Tonete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Salamon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Tonete having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Salamon in the 69th minute of play forced Jota Erre Erre's goalkeeper Reynaldo Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Tonete having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Julio Salamon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Reynaldo Tonete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Alberta FC's Vladimiro Loiola got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Alberta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jota Erre Erre.
