Benedicto Beat hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Israel Cordero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Nave FC and the Cafayate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nunez Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Breogan in the 37th minute of play forced Cafayate's goalkeeper Nunez Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Jaen having to interfere. Cafayate's Nunez Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Breogan in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Cafayate got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Maule. After 47 played minutes La Nave FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Gurutz.

In the 53rd minute Arnoldo Maule suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Udalaitz during the 53rd minute. In the 65th minute of the match Nemesio Cidro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Jaen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, La Nave FC's Fernan Udalaitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 81 minutes into the game, Moises Mouricio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcelo Jaen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nemesio Cidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. In the 97th match minute, Cafayate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cafayate fully deserved thier win.
