Jacobo Batista came out of the goal and Efrain Telmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Efrain Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriana Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Batista having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriana Gartzi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Batista saved Yanda FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Telmo in the 38th minute of play forced Yanda FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Cordara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for EL REJUNTE FC. Ruperto Cuarto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacobo Batista. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Paio was the one to do the kick off. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, EL REJUNTE FC's Adriana Gartzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Batista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66thth minute of the game Adriana Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yanda FC's Jacobo Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. EL REJUNTE FC's Efrain Oskarbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Guter in the 68th minute of play. Adriana Gartzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Batista came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriana Gartzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. In the 82nd minute, Adriana Gartzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Batista. The goal made the score 1-3. Efrain Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Batista having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Adriana Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Telmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EL REJUNTE FC played a much better game than Yanda FC and deserved their victory. The Yanda FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
