After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Augusto Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puntilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Iaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 minutes, Gabriel Txomin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ingas AFC and the Puntilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ingas AFC's Romulo Orlondo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jesus Afonso came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Puntilla AFC's Haroldo Illan. But to his dismay, Haroldo Illan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Haroldo Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, one of Puntilla AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Puntilla AFC. Ermegildo Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Puntilla AFC's zone, Ermegildo Abeita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Tristan came out of the goal and Ermegildo Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Puntilla AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ermegildo Abeita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Puntilla AFC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Cipriano Tadzio hit a great ball. Mariano Pelayo, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Iaki made a kick off. If Augusto Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ermegildo Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingas AFC's Ermegildo Abeita got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Gabriel Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Puntilla AFC's zone, Gabriel Txomin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Tristan came out of the goal and Gabriel Txomin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Illan got free with Jesus Afonso in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Teobaldo Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Puntilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Abeita came free, but Teobaldo Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Abeita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Txomin in the 98th minute of play forced Puntilla AFC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingas AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
