The referee ignored Ice and Fire's protests and gave Gaston Joachim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Ice and Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Joachim to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ice and Fire's goalkeeper Baldomiro Regis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Desiderio Erroman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Oinaz in the 5th minute. When Cristo Oinaz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ice and Fire fans jumped to their feet. When Lucio Stanislao came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Estudiantes F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Stanislao couldn't finish the play. Gaston Joachim kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Baldomiro Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Stanislao in the 34th minute of play.

Jaime Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Estudiantes F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
