Desiderio Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, El Patron's goalkeeper Martin Gartzen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Sasoin. After 11 played minutes El Patron got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Bartoleme. Cristo Sasoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Tirso in the 23rd minute of play forced Estudiantes F.C's goalkeeper Desiderio Erroman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rogelio Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Antonio Urtsua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes F.C's Desiderio Erroman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Estudiantes F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jonathan Xabel hit a great ball. Martin Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Stanislao in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Estudiantes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rogelio Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Patron's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Erroman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, El Patron's Amador Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Erroman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amador Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Erroman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Tirso's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Rogelio Tirso put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Erroman. Desiderio Erroman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Honorato Inautzi. Desiderio Erroman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Tirso in the 56th minute. Rogelio Tirso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. El Patron's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amador Lopez succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Estudiantes F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Rogelio Tirso scored to the left of an out of position Desiderio Erroman, making the score, 0-3. Amador Lopez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Desiderio Erroman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Patron. Amador Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Erroman having to interfere. Amador Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Eustaquio Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estudiantes F.C's Desiderio Erroman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Lopez in the 94th minute of play.
