Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Terciero to make the kick off. Southern Oilers Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Miliano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Miliano in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Abaunza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Reynaldo Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herminio Dayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aquiles Koldo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armindo's protests and gave Aquiles Koldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Southern Oilers Athletic booed when Armindo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
