Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Ciceron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Delmar Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Mendez in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Ciceron, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute, Adrian Arnalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Urbano Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U2ENSE AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Tohias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Odon during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Javier Odon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ambrosio Barea charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Barea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anier Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, U2ENSE AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justo Mendez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adrian Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ariel Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Odon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Anier Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Mendez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Mendez in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Justo Mendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Ciceron was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sepultura's zone, Urbano Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Beremundo came out of the goal and Urbano Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Justo Mendez made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Ciceron. U2ENSE AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anier Beremundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Cordeiro in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Delmar Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. U2ENSE AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Beremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justo Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sepultura were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of U2ENSE AFC for a fine match.
