Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Lorenzo Sengrat started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Raimundo Peli came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Liniers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Peli couldn't finish the play. Severiano Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Sengrat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Sengrat in the 19th minute of play. Nicanor Frasquito charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Frasquito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Liniers getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nicanor Frasquito hit a great ball. Jose Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Severiano Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Sengrat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Ferdinand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Liniers's Amador Orzaize got a free kick in the 26th minute. Americo Mateus might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Endira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Mateus ran back to his position shaking his head. When Raimundo Peli fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liniers's protests and gave Raimundo Peli a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Cristos made a kick off. If Cayetano Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Americo Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Endira having to interfere. Jose Manuelo scored 0-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Ferdinand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Liniers's Severiano Ferdinand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Liniers from getting a goal against them. Severiano Ferdinand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Sengrat in the 69th minute of the match. If Americo Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Liniers's Americo Mateus in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye General Urquiza MDP's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, General Urquiza MDP's Uriel Jatsu got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute Cayetano Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Liniers's Americo Mateus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Endira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Liniers's Severiano Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Sengrat in the 89th minute of play. Jose Manuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Severiano Ferdinand made a huge save. General Urquiza MDP's Lorenzo Sengrat got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Liniers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching General Urquiza MDP's performance. The match ended with a win for General Urquiza MDP.
