Melchor Elazar started the match with the kick off. Murquilla AFC were furious when Arnoldo Froylan was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Murquilla AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Kayas. Carolo Goi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alejo Gaur. 0-1. Alejo Gaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Kayas's Nemesio Ekhi got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Jesco got free with Paulino Hernandez in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Murquilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Beti. Fausto Jesco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Paulino Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murquilla AFC. Murquilla AFC's Alonzo Beti got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, Kayas's Melchor Elazar made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Gaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejo Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fausto Jesco made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Murquilla AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 52 minutes, Kayas's Carolo Goi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alejo Gaur. Alejo Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Elazar in the 58th minute of play. Alonzo Beti hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Fausto Jesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Hernandez having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Elazar in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Gaur saved Murquilla AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Murquilla AFC's Alejo Gaur got control of the ball when Jeronimo Chuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejo Gaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With splendid footwork Melchor Elazar arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 84th minute. Murquilla AFC's Alejo Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Elazar in the 88th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Murquilla AFC! In the 98th minute, Murquilla AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jeronimo Chuan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kayas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
