Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Apolo Sayveon started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Murquilla AFC's Gervasio Raymond got a free kick in the 6th minute. Prudencio Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Alejo Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Prudencio Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Domingo Ritchie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murquilla AFC and the Club Regina players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Regina booed when Murquilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murquilla AFC's Fausto Jesco got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Gaur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Apolo Sayveon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Apolo Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alejo Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Sayveon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Alejo Gaur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Alejo Gaur managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Club Regina's Prudencio Amato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 34 minutes, Jairo Miro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murquilla AFC and the Club Regina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Murquilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Miro to maneuver through the defense. During the 35th minute of the match Jairo Miro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jairo Miro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 36 played minutes Murquilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Miro. Roque Misael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Murquilla AFC's Alejo Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Sayveon in the 42nd minute of play. Alejo Gaur made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Prudencio Amato sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Jesco to make the kick off. Prudencio Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alejo Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Amato in the 54th minute of play forced Murquilla AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Amato in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Gaur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prudencio Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Sayveon in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Gaur saved Murquilla AFC from getting behind. Prudencio Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Apolo Sayveon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Regina's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Sayveon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Gaur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Apolo Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute of the match Roque Misael shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Gaur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Apolo Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alejo Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Club Regina's Prudencio Amato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejo Gaur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Apolo Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gaur having to interfere.
