An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Henric in the 11th minute of play forced Club Regina's goalkeeper Astor Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Clodoveo Salvadore fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mandarina Dinámica's protests and gave Clodoveo Salvadore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Clodoveo Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of La Mandarina Dinámica booed when Club Regina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. La Mandarina Dinámica's Armando Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Sayveon in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Prudencio Amato made a precise shot to the right of Armando Qwinton. La Mandarina Dinámica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Roque Misael was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Regina's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Roque Misael got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Qwinton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Prudencio Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Armando Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Qwinton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Sayveon's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Apolo Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Regina played a much better game than La Mandarina Dinámica and deserved their victory. The La Mandarina Dinámica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
