Evelio Veronica showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Caballito F.C.'s Ildefonso Osoitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ildefonso Osoitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caballito F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ildefonso Osoitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Caballito F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of General Urquiza MDP:s goal. Astor Gil took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Endira. Emiliano Endira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Inocencio Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Manuelo in the 40th minute of the match. Caballito F.C.'s Inocencio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Manuelo in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Astor Gil made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jose Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Urquiza MDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Manuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Caballito F.C.'s Astor Gil in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye General Urquiza MDP's goalie prevented a goal. If Astor Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Tiburcio Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Manuelo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Inocencio Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for General Urquiza MDP. Inocencio Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Manuelo in the 72nd minute. Lorenzo Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Santana having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Caballito F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Fertus to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Manuelo got free with Inocencio Santana in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lisandro Fertus kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caballito F.C.'s zone, Lorenzo Sengrat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Santana came out of the goal and Lorenzo Sengrat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 98th play minutes Jose Manuelo shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Inocencio Santana and just under the crossbar into goal. The General Urquiza MDP players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caballito F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
