Cavi's Cristo Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Handi in the 5th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Cesar Valery put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benedicto Otsoko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Valery in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Otsoko saved Capdevila FC from getting behind. After 14 played minutes Capdevila FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Chan. Benedicto Otsoko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Valery's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 19 played minutes Cavi got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Oihenarte. Cavi's Cristo Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Handi in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Cavi getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cesar Valery hit a great ball. Teofilo Eusko's late challenge caught a Cavi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Eusko helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Capdevila FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Eusko. The supporters of Cavi booed when Capdevila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Handi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Capdevila FC's Ovidio Oalo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Valery stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cesar Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Ubaldo Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Capdevila FC's zone, Cesar Valery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Otsoko came out of the goal and Cesar Valery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cavi's Cesar Valery got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Cavi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Errando to maneuver through the defense. If Cesar Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Otsoko made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cesar Valery sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Cesar Valery recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedicto Otsoko. Cesar Valery showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Cavi's Alfredo Oihenarte got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Cesar Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cavi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
