Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Dantel in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Astica booed when Futbol Moderno F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Weather made a kick off. Hipolito Dantel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cirilo Fernandes came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Dantel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. When Guillermo Urtats fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Moderno F.C's protests and gave Guillermo Urtats a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the match, Futbol Moderno F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Quinito came free, but Reynaldo Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Mantzio in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Blanco saved Futbol Moderno F.C from getting behind. Aurelio Corderall charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Corderall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Astica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Corderall to maneuver through the defense. Christian Weather blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Fernandes having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Astica's zone, Guillermo Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Fernandes came out of the goal and Guillermo Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Futbol Moderno F.C were furious when Omar Baumar was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 79 minutes into the game, one of Futbol Moderno F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 91 minutes, Guillermo Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Moderno F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Urtats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Futbol Moderno F.C's Hipolito Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Futbol Moderno F.C's Claudio Ilazki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cirilo Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Futbol Moderno F.C were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Astica to leave the ground with a draw.
