Spectators: 7070 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Leeds United's Cristian Guilabertus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dalmacio Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute, Nunez Nafarroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astica's goalkeeper Cirilo Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Guilabertus kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Aurelio Quinito struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Romeo Belasko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astica. The supporters of Astica booed when Leeds United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Bertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Aurelio Quinito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Romeo Belasko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nunez Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Fernandes having to interfere. Leeds United's David Osorio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Quinito was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Astica's Arturo Truylos got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Richie in the 59th minute of play forced Astica's goalkeeper Cirilo Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Richie in the 61st minute of play. Hernan Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Leeds United's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Quinito came free, but Romeo Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Richie's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Romeo Belasko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arturo Truylos. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Aurelio Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astica's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Quinito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Belasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Richie struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cirilo Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds United. Nunez Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leeds United were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Astica to leave the ground with a draw.
