In the 5th minute, Edgard Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Cavi's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Felo came free, but Cristo Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Remigio Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Felo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Mel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cavi defense, Nicasio Aritza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Mel. The Cavi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Mel should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Giga fc's zone, Cesar Valery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Louis came out of the goal and Cesar Valery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Severino Napier made a precise shot to the right of Cristo Mel. Cavi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Giga fc were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Aritza to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Giga fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Valery came free, but Remigio Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giga fc's goalkeeper Remigio Louis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Giga fc getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ariel Felo hit a great ball. Cavi's Cesar Valery got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Valery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Giga fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Elizardo to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Lorenzo Palos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavi and the Giga fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cavi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Felix Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, Edgardo Dubardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Giga fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavi the free kick. After 91 played minutes Giga fc got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Dubardo. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavi's goalkeeper Cristo Mel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
