With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Opilano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Hipolito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Mantzio came free, but Anacleto Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Astica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Aurelio Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Galtero might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Galtero ran back to his position shaking his head. Cirilo Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Quirce in the 33rd minute. Alfredo Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Astica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Fernandes having to interfere. Alfredo Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. Hipolito FC's Jonathan Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Quinito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Anacleto Opilano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Teodoro Galtero made the kick off in the second half. Hipolito FC's Anacleto Opilano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Hipolito FC from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Iraido during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hipolito FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jonathan Iraido hit a great ball. Cirilo Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cirilo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Galtero in the 73rd minute of the match. Cirilo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astica's Cirilo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Galtero in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hipolito FC's zone, Aurelio Quinito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Opilano came out of the goal and Aurelio Quinito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Mantzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anacleto Opilano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play Hipolito FC's Jonathan Iraido was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jonathan Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The corner ended in Mario Evarado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hipolito FC's Anacleto Opilano did a great save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hipolito FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Astica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
