The supporters of Ayui AFC booed when Estudiantes de Bragado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estudiantes de Bragado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayui AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de Bragado's zone, Osvaldo Eleazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Mateo came out of the goal and Osvaldo Eleazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes in the game, Osvaldo Eleazar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baldomero Mateo having to interfere. Cesar Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lucio Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estudiantes de Bragado succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ayui AFC had controlled the match.
