Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 11 minutes into the match, Astica's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Mogel came free, but Cirilo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dalmacio Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Mogel in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Felix Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astica's Cirilo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Cesario in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Astica booed when Echeverría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Evarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cirilo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Mogel in the 37th minute of play. Felix Mogel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Fernandes having to make a save. When Gabriel Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Echeverría fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Cesario couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cirilo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Astica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Hurko to maneuver through the defense. When Gabriel Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Echeverría fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Cesario couldn't finish the play.

Cirilo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mogel in the 53rd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Aurelio Corderall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echeverría the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Aurelio Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Felix Mogel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cirilo Fernandes, passed just outside the right post. Aurelio Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Aurelio Quinito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Remigio Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Berdaitz's late challenge caught a Echeverría's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Berdaitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Astica getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tomas Berdaitz hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Felix Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echeverría's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Gustau during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Echeverría getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ermegildo Gustau hit a great ball. Aurelio Quinito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Corderall struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Remigio Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astica. Echeverría's Remigio Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Corderall in the 96th minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Dalmacio Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Mantzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Astica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Echeverría's performance. The match ended with a win for Echeverría.
