The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Adan Berdaitz fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heckos's protests and gave Adan Berdaitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Heckos getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Adan Berdaitz hit a great ball. In the 6th match minute, Heckos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Viviano to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Opilano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Louis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Alfredo Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Eladio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Heckos's Alonzo Brais got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Teodoro Galtero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hipolito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Galtero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Eladio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfredo Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Jonathan Iraido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hipolito FC and the Heckos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Opilano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Louis in the 33rd minute of play. Adan Berdaitz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Opilano. Anacleto Opilano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Anacleto Opilano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Louis in the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aristides Galsino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heckos's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Galsino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Opilano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Hipolito FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Opilano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Galsino. Heckos's Astor Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Quirce in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Louis was the one to do the kick off. Adan Berdaitz got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Heckos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Adan Berdaitz hit a great ball. Teodoro Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Eladio having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Aristides Galsino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heckos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Galsino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfredo Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Galsino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Opilano having to interfere. Astor Eladio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodoro Galtero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 82 minute of play. Anacleto Opilano came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Heckos's Aristides Galsino. But to his dismay, Aristides Galsino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
