Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Venancio Oxarra made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Albano Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Cesaro in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Albano Cesaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Nazca booed when Palmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Albano Cesaro fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Hugo Sancho moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. Ezequiel Gelacio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Palmar's Frans Kock got control of the ball when Evaristo Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albano Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Palmar's Venancio Oxarra in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nazca's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Valery's late challenge caught a Nazca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 47 minutes, Venancio Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Palmar were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Venancio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Nazca got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Montes. If Venancio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hugo Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Hugo Sancho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Sandaili in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Kock saved Palmar from getting behind. After 69 played minutes, Palmar's Alejandro Rosalio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Sancho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmar reached it. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Gilberto Ignatius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nazca's Hugo Sancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Nazca from getting a goal against them. When Evaristo Garoa fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nazca's protests and gave Evaristo Garoa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nazca getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Evaristo Garoa hit a great ball. If Venancio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Nazca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmar:s goal. Alejandro Rosalio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Pedro Ferman's late challenge caught a Nazca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Ferman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, one of Palmar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmar. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Nazca. Aaron Peli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frans Kock. 1-2. After 93 played minutes Venancio Oxarra rounded Nazca's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Hugo Sancho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmar's Venancio Oxarra. But to his dismay, Venancio Oxarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Palmar played a much better game than Nazca and deserved their victory. The Nazca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
