In the 13th match minute, Coitaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Gilen scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingos Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Gilen in the 20th minute of the match. Gualterio Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Domingos Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Naike hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Leonardo Leizarraga made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Osoro. Coitaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Orlando Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute of the match Casillas got a corner. Coitaco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Quirze ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Coitaco's goalie and right to Natalio Johans. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Coitaco's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Gualterio Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Gilen in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Osoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Domingos Osoro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
