Erasmo Dubardo's late challenge caught a AchaMar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Santos Claude, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Braulio Mano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. AchaMar FC's Ariel Donzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save AchaMar FC from getting a goal against them. Ariel Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Dubardo in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Navia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Thomas to maneuver through the defense. AchaMar FC's Rosendo Ticho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Navia. Hermengildo Socorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Mano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Socorro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, one of Navia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Navia. Hermengildo Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half AchaMar FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Dubardo to make the kick off. Hermengildo Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Braulio Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Navia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AchaMar FC the free kick.
