Navia's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Dubardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Bittor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Mitxaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Dubardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Dubardo in the 28th minute of play. When Benedicto Tipi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gesell Fútbol Club's protests and gave Benedicto Tipi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Benedicto Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 57 played minutes Gesell Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Gaitan. Gesell Fútbol Club's Dionisio Bittor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Gesell Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Santo Mino might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Mano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Mino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Luis Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Navia's Erasmo Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Joachim might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Bittor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Joachim ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquilino Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Teodoro Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Dubardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Bittor having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Erasmo Dubardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gesell Fútbol Club's Dionisio Bittor. Dionisio Bittor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Braulio Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Dubardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dionisio Bittor. That made the score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. Navia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
