In the 3rd minute of the match Ignacio Etxekopar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Lorien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dionisio Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Fidencio in the 9th minute of play forced Gesell Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Dionisio Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gesell Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jose Perez hit a great ball. Arnoldo Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Mitxaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Canaya Fulbo Clú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Balendin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Mitxaut in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Lorien saved Canaya Fulbo Clú from getting behind. Arnoldo Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Mitxaut in the 19th minute of play. Canaya Fulbo Clú's Braulio Haitz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pablo Fix in the 23 minute of the game. Atilano Socorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canaya Fulbo Clú's Arnoldo Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Canaya Fulbo Clú from getting a goal against them. Gesell Fútbol Club's Dionisio Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Fidencio in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Canaya Fulbo Clú's Pablo Balendin got a free kick in the 31st minute. Arnoldo Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dionisio Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Canaya Fulbo Clú's Benedicto Fidencio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Benedicto Fidencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Fidencio in the 45th minute of play forced Gesell Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Dionisio Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Fidencio in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Bittor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ladislao Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Bittor having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Benedicto Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Arnoldo Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Mitxaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Braulio Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Haitz got free with Dionisio Bittor in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Gesell Fútbol Club's zone, Benedicto Fidencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Bittor came out of the goal and Benedicto Fidencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Fidencio in the 88th minute of play forced Gesell Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Dionisio Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Lorien came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gesell Fútbol Club's Luis Mitxaut. But to his dismay, Luis Mitxaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Canaya Fulbo Clú were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
