Benedicto Fidencio struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Elias Geleberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canaya Fulbo Clú. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Charrúa's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Fidencio came free, but Elias Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Eduardo Diaz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes, Benedicto Fidencio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Charrúa's Elias Geleberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Benedicto Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canaya Fulbo Clú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Fidencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Elias Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Benedicto Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canaya Fulbo Clú's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Fidencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Geleberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24thth minute of the game Benedicto Fidencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Charrúa's Elias Geleberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Fidencio in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Geleberto saved Deportivo Charrúa from getting behind. Canaya Fulbo Clú's Benedicto Fidencio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Lorien having to interfere. Canaya Fulbo Clú's Arnoldo Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Urbasa in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Fidencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Charrúa's Saturnino Checa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Braulio Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canaya Fulbo Clú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Haitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Fidencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elias Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Benedicto Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Geleberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Fidencio's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 69 played minutes Canaya Fulbo Clú got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Nuñez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Fidencio in the 72nd minute of play forced Deportivo Charrúa's goalkeeper Elias Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Deportivo Charrúa defense, Benedicto Fidencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Geleberto. The Deportivo Charrúa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Geleberto should have stopped the shot. If Nunez Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Nunez Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canaya Fulbo Clú's Arnoldo Lorien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedicto Fidencio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elias Geleberto came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Fidencio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 96th minute. Canaya Fulbo Clú played a much better game than Deportivo Charrúa and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Charrúa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
