Domingos Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Dacio in the 12th minute of play. Romeo Dacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Naike hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Pasqual during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Coitaco booed when SynapseFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, SynapseFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Dacio to maneuver through the defense. Igor Cordarin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Freddy Gabirel came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Cordarin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Coitaco's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Dacio came free, but Domingos Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Coitaco's zone, Romeo Dacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Osoro came out of the goal and Romeo Dacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnulfo Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Domingos Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SynapseFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Santo Eusko hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gustavo Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot. SynapseFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Pasqual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Romeo Dacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Ursino in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Romeo Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SynapseFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Dacio made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 61stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Domingos Osoro would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Romeo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Osoro having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Gustavo Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Domingos Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Dacio in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes of play SynapseFC's Gustavo Pasqual was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st match minute, SynapseFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Igor Cordarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SynapseFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Coitaco had won, even though SynapseFC had held more of the ball.
