Teodoro Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Payable On Death's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ado came free, but Teodoro Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Primitivo Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueve y Tres's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Patrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Curcio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Payable On Death's Teodoro Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Ado in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Payable On Death's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ado came free, but Teodoro Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Curcio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Denis Manex mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueve y Tres and the Payable On Death players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Nueve y Tres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Manex to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Nueve y Tres's zone, Eusebio Astigar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Ayala came out of the goal and Eusebio Astigar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Nueve y Tres's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Curcio came free, but Julio Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benedicto Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Santo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Aaron Curcio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Payable On Death fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Nueve y Tres's Primitivo Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Curcio in the 95th minute of the match. Payable On Death's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
