The referee ignored Porron y Novia Nueva's protests and gave Elias Quintun a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Quintun hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rafael Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Bermund in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Constantino Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Quintun hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rafael Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Montel in the 20th minute of the match. Rafael Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Quintun in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Porron y Novia Nueva's Epifanio Eutor got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Severiano Bermund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jesus Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Jago struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jesus Matxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Gualterio Venerando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 43rd playminute. If Gualterio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Montel made a kick off. Jesus Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Barros's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Rodrigo Vitin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 58 minutes into the game, Pascual Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porron y Novia Nueva the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Igor Montel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Constancio came out of the goal and Igor Montel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes, Gregorio Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porron y Novia Nueva and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Porron y Novia Nueva getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gregorio Lucian hit a great ball. Jesus Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Venerando in the 70th minute of play. Placido Cordarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Placido Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Matxin having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Gualterio Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Matxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 86 minutes into the game, one of Porron y Novia Nueva:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Placido Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Matxin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gualterio Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Venerando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Cordarin charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Cordarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Boca Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
