With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Cordarin in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Orlo saved Lehmann from getting behind. Angelo Orlo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gualterio Venerando sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Gualterio Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Orlo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gualterio Venerando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Orlo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Cordarin in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Orlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualterio Venerando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Orlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Angelo Orlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Venerando in the 24th minute. Aquiles Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes in the game Anacleto Matro got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Lehmann's Angelo Orlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Cordarin in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Angelo Orlo managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Boca Juniors's Gualterio Venerando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafael Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes in the game, Placido Cordarin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelo Orlo having to interfere. Anacleto Matro made a great header on Boca Juniors's corner, it was just that Lehmann's Angelo Orlo managed to reach the ball for a save. Marco Cortez hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Anacleto Matro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Angelo Orlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rdth minute of the game Placido Cordarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lehmann's Angelo Orlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, one of Lehmann:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 59th minute, Gualterio Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gualterio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Lorencio got free with Rafael Constancio in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Constantino Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Venerando in the 77th minute of play forced Lehmann's goalkeeper Angelo Orlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Angelo Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Orlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Venerando's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lehmann's zone, Placido Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Orlo came out of the goal and Placido Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Cordarin struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Angelo Orlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Placido Cordarin scored 3-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Orlo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boca Juniors's Placido Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lehmann's Angelo Orlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Cordarin in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. Lehmann's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anacleto Matro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Anacleto Matro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Orlo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Boca Juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
