In the 21st match minute, Nueve y Tres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Santo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Luciano Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAB CORSARIOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Mingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Denis Manex put in a rough tackle. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nueve y Tres! Luciano Mingo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Julio Ayala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of CAB CORSARIOS booed when Nueve y Tres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by Jacobo Ekain from a close distance when the talented Julio Ayala managed to make a qualified save. Nueve y Tres's players were relieved. Primitivo Patrido was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 73 minutes into the match, Nueve y Tres's Primitivo Patrido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Pello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Ekain in the 74th minute of play. Cesar Ariando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Luciano Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Ayala having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Cesar Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Patrido might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Pello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Patrido ran back to his position shaking his head.
