Jimeno Senin made a great header on Matreros Fútbol Club's corner, it was just that Florentina's Cosme Delfino managed to reach the ball for a save. When Aaron Gaxan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Matreros Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. In the 91st minute of the match, Leonardo Chabier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cosme Delfino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 94 minutes, Aaron Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matreros Fútbol Club the free kick. Filomeno Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The Florentina fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matreros Fútbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
