Reñico's Javier Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Neron in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Raimundo Guillelme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reñico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSBILARDIOS FC the free kick. A collision led to Reñico getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Raimundo Guillelme hit a great ball. If Rigoberto Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Neron in the 23rd minute of play forced Reñico's goalkeeper Javier Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reñico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for CSBILARDIOS FC. Godofredo Kemen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Javier Perrando. 0-2. After some careless play in the CSBILARDIOS FC defense, Rigoberto Isaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Victoro. The CSBILARDIOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Victoro should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Isaio got free with Augusto Victoro in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Rodas to make the kick off. In the 57th minute German Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Victoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cornelio Regis fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reñico's protests and gave Cornelio Regis a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the game, one of Reñico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for CSBILARDIOS FC. Godofredo Kemen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Javier Perrando. 1-4. Augusto Victoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. German Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Victoro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CSBILARDIOS FC's zone, Lorenzo Oliveiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Victoro came out of the goal and Lorenzo Oliveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Isaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CSBILARDIOS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSBILARDIOS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
